This is a drawing of Lion O I did for a monthly art blog some co-workers and I contribute to. I took some liberties with the costume to make it a little less... ehem... flamboyant? Anyway, penciled and inked on paper, colored in Painter. THUNDERCATS HOOOOO!
He looks like a real king (minus the crown).
Very good! Better than the old costume IMO. If they would not have made a reboot but an actual remake of the old series. I would have prefar this costume.
Thanks! I'm really enjoying the new series. Glad to see they're still making decent cartoons these days.
good work, wow!
Nice work, this was my fav cartoon when i was a kid
Hell yeah! Can't wait for the new cartoon. It looks like it will actually be pretty awesome!
OMG! I grew up with the thundercats! Lion O was my fav when I was younger! Still is.
Thanks! For me it was a toss up between Lion O and Tigra. I had a thing for tigers.
HOLY CRAP! THUNDERCATS!!! I bless thee with for reminding me of my childhood Nicely done my friend!! You deserve some llama lovin'
Oh wow! this takes me back! Wonderful work--I definately love this costume more . Especiallly the cape and the boots
Awesome looking, like the shorts rather than skivies too. Cpae is an excellent touch as well, great work.
Thanks! I wanted to update the costume a bit so it wasn't so... 80s. I think I could take it further though.
Sure could I'm sure. Though it looks great any how, one of my many faved shows from back in the good old days. Love seeing fellow artists from my gen helping keep our beloved favorites alive. Again, grea twork.
I loved that cartoon Great drawing!
Truly amazing, it brings back a lot of memories of me rushing home from school to watch the show.
I couldn't get enough of that show either
Ha ha. I swear, this show shaped my whole childhood.
I feel that way about Voltron. I just worshipped that show as a kid. I even had the toys. The first ones I had were actually made of metel, they switched over to plastic unfortunatly because the metel ones looked incredible.
Hmm. Now there's a nice touch to his outfit! I like the fluff on his shoulders!
Haha, Thundercats were the big thing from my childhood, that and G.I. Joe! Lovely work... your entire gallery is great actually
Awesome, love the design and the colours are great!
I love this one! Your colors and lines are so vivid and excellent... Thanks for sharing!
